About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I have a great sense of humor, enjoy laughing and have a talent for making others laugh. At times I am quiet and introspective content to just listen and take in my surroundings. Other times I am very outgoing, energetic and entertaining.

Hobbies/Interests:camping, canoeing, x-country skiing, exploring, walking, travelling, dancing, photography, arts/crafts, cooking/baking, reading, playing piano.

I love to travel whether it's long distance or just going for a drive in the country. By the time summer arrives I'm anxious to head down the highway in my car to Vancouver to visit family and do some shopping.

One of my most memorable trips was to McNeill River in Alaska to photograph the grizzly bears.

Dancing is one of my favorite activities. The last two years I've taken lessons in swing, latin and 2 stepping. I belong to an all girls swing team so I can lead as well as follow many of the steps.

I work with mentally, physically and behaviorally challenged students as a Remedial Tutor in an elementary school. I also tutor students privately.

My future goals are to find a compatible life partner, travel, obtain a degree in counselling and learn to play the sax, violin and guitar.

There are many qualities I admire in other people. Honesty, communication, loyalty and commitment are all important to me. I also value a sense of humor and someone who is able to laugh at themselves. I am attracted to people who make me laugh or can engage me in philosophical/intellectual conversations.

I would also like to find someone who already enjoys dancing or would be willing to learn to dance with me.
